Friction Arts //
Multicultural Music Making Project Manager

December 2020 - present

Multicultural Music Making (MMM) is a culturally-responsive participant-led practice, looking at building music making sessions around the musical heritage, interests, geographical and cultural connections of participants and their families. There are four strands of work - primary, secondary, holiday offers and training. MMM was conceived by Creative Director Natalie and is delivered in partnership with Friction Arts and is funded by Youth Music.

My role is to work closely with Natalie and Friction Arts to oversee the delivery of all strands of work. From organising sessions with partners, musicians and participants through to evaluation and budgeting.
