December 2019 - present

Jerwood Jazz Encounters Fellowship is a new artist development programme for early-career jazz artists to create and develop ground-breaking new ways to present jazz at Festivals and outdoor sites across England.

During the 18-month programme, artists will conceive and deliver an outdoor, site-specific or digital work to be hosted by at least one of the co-producing partners (Cheltenham Jazz festival, Manchester Jazz Festival, Oxford Contemporary Music and Sage Gateshead),, as well as benefiting from a range of additional support and training throughout the fellowship including R&D funding, in-depth mentoring, participation in a Creative Lab and more.

My role has been to put systems and processes in place for this brand new programme and oversee the recruitment of artists, managing relationships with co-producers, programming training and mentoring opportunities and overseeing all financial and evaluation elements of the programme.
